As of now, Amazon has over 20,000 Rivian Electric Delivery Vans, which have successfully delivered over one billion packages across the U.S. in just one year.
Rivian has delivered roughly 5,000 vans to Amazon in four months, maintaining a production pace that could help them meet the target of 100,000 by 2030.
Amazon is also leading the way in ensuring its electric fleet is supported with infrastructure, having installed over 17,000 charging stations across more than 120 locations.
Initially, the electric vans were exclusive to Amazon until Rivian ended the exclusivity deal last year, shifting towards making their vehicles available to other companies.
