STCP, the Portuguese operator serving Porto, is enhancing its public transport with a tender for 30 new electric buses and corresponding charging infrastructure, part of a €12.9 million investment focused on modernization and decarbonization. With existing electric buses in its fleet, STCP aims to increase its zero-emission vehicles to 126 by 2026. The planned buses will feature a minimum range of 320 km, further promoting sustainable transit. STCP also intends to install 30 charging stations to support this new fleet, highlighting its commitment to clean mobility and improving the quality of life for local residents.

The project includes the installation of 15 dual charging points, providing 30 charging stations to support the new electric fleet, catering to the expected increase in zero-emission vehicles.
