MCV is likely to provide fuel cell buses in Europe, as it commissioned a 50-modules supply to Ballard - Sustainable Bus
Briefly

Ballard has secured a multi-year supply agreement with Egypt-based MCV for approximately 5 MW of fuel cell engines. The agreement includes the delivery of 50 FCmove-HD+ engines expected between 2025 and 2026, primarily for EU projects. Although specific models for the engines are not mentioned, MCV has previously worked on bodyworks for the Volvo 8900 Electric range. The deal represents a strengthening of the partnership cultivated with MCV since 2022, with Ballard positioning itself to enhance the decarbonization of public transit globally.
Today, Ballard powers more than 1,800 fuel cell buses worldwide, according to its own figures. The supply agreement for 50 FCmove-HD+ engines... represents the continued growth of the relationship with MCV.
We are delighted with this order and the continued engagement with MCV. In 2024 we took in 1,600 bus engines orders across 7 OEMs, and this agreement continues the momentum into 2025.
