The new Enviro200EV will offer customers a scalable platform with midi and full-size single-deck lengths. The 9.9 m, 10.9 m, and 11.7 m options form the core of the offering and will be available to both provincial and Transport for London operators, with an additional 10.4 m length available in the capital.
The long wheelbase and short overhangs maximize the easily accessible low-floor area of the Enviro200EV, while the reduced wheel intrusion compared to heavier models further increases passenger space. This provides a high number of seats and a high total passenger capacity for each of the vehicle lengths.
In provincial specifications, the Enviro200EV can be equipped with 33, 39 or 43 seats at 9.9 m, 10.9 m and 11.7 m, respectively, with total passenger capacity reaching 92 in the longest model. This is up to two more seats and up to 22 more total passengers than other vehicles of similar length and characteristics currently offered in the UK.
Buses for London will have two doors, and wheelchair users will be able to board via an electric ramp at the rear door. Capable of seating a maximum of 59-72 passengers in total, depending on length, the Enviro200EV's specifications for London transportation have been carefully designed to increase the number of seats available.
