Bozankaya, an Ankara-based manufacturer, has won a significant tender with Prague's DPP for the supply of up to seventy 12-meter trolleybuses over the next five years. This contract, valued at around 1.1 billion kronor (approximately 43.5 million euros), includes advanced diagnostic hardware and energy management systems. The new SNG 12 trolleybuses will support partial autonomous travel, enhancing Prague's ongoing project to convert bus lines to a more sustainable trolleybus system, ultimately aiming for a zero-emission fleet with up to 105 trolleybuses in service by the project's completion.
The Prague Transport Company has successfully continued its project to convert over ten bus lines to trolleybuses, including up to seventy new ones from Bozankaya.
Bozankaya's SNG 12 model will offer a modern design, a capacity for 82 passengers, and features that support autonomous travel for up to 15 km.
