Jean Knight, "Mr. Big Stuff" Singer, Dies at 80
Jean Knight, the New Orleans soul singer known for her hit single 'Mr. Big Stuff,' has died at the age of 80.
Her career began in the 1960s with singles on labels Tribe and Jetstream before her breakthrough with 'Mr. Big Stuff.'
Knight's other successful recording was a 1985 version of the zydeco standard 'My Toot Toot.' [ more ]
