Eastern Santa Clara Hills, Mountains Of San Benito County And Interior Monterey County Including Pinnacles National Park and Northern Salinas Valley/Hollister Valley and Carmel Valley are included in a weather alert for showers by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 7:45 a.m. The alert is in effect until 8:30 a.m. Residents may experience wind gusts of up to 50 mph. At 7:45 a.m., Doppler radar tracked a shower 9 miles southwest of Ridgemark, or 11 miles east of Salinas, moving northeast at 40 mph, the NWS San Francisco CA said.
