Snow cancels 40 percent of flights at Paris airport on Wednesday
"Snow-related travel chaos looks set to continue in France on Wednesday with flights cancelled at Paris airports as other regional airports remain closed and drivers are advised to postpone their journeys. The French transport minister on Tuesday afternoon announced that 40 percent of flights in and out of Charles de Gaulle airport will be cancelled on Wednesday morning, and 25 percent at Paris Orly."

Flights at Paris airports will be widely cancelled, with 40 percent at Charles de Gaulle and 25 percent at Orly on Wednesday morning. Five western airports—Nantes, Brest, La Rochelle, Saint-Nazaire and Vatry—will remain closed at least until Wednesday lunchtime. Passengers with booked flights are advised to contact their airlines. Drivers in snow-affected northern and western areas are advised to postpone journeys where possible. Workers in affected areas are advised to work from home if possible. A total of 38 departements are under an orange weather alert, covering most of the north and centre, including Paris. Additional snowfall of up to 7cm is forecast in places.
