Screenshot via CNN Venezuelan strongman Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, touched down at Stewart Air National Guard Base in New York Saturday evening as the 25-page superseding indictment revealed the charges against them and three other defendants for allegedly transporting thousands of tons of cocaine to the United States. The charges also alleged the defendants knowingly used and carried firearms to achieve their drug-trafficking goals, including machine guns.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - A 38-year-old man was indicted on weapons charges after he was allegedly caught with a gun inside the NYPD's 120th Precinct stationhouse in St. George.

Police have arrested a man from Brooklyn in connection to a fatal shooting in The Bronx early this month. Desean Edwards, 22, of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. Police say that 21-year-old Jontay Davis was discovered in the rear of SBH Health System at 2 a.m. Sept. 2. He was shot in the head and pronounced deceased at the hospital.

A State Police trooper dove headfirst into a car window after pulling over a Boston city worker last month who is now facing weapon and assault charges. Nasiru Ibrahim, 25, was pulled over on Old Colony Avenue in South Boston for having tinted windows, according to a police report. He pleaded not guilty July 31 to a dozen charges, including possessing a machine gun and a large capacity feeding device, as well as assault and battery on a trooper and with a dangerous weapon.
