More than 100,000 people visited the carnival, which also enjoyed warm and sunny weather, reported local news. Lund University was founded in 1666 and is one of the biggest universities in the Nordics. "The general impression is that there were more visitors this year than last time. Overall, it has been peaceful, but the warm weather has contributed to a few people getting rather too tipsy," police spokesperson Patric Fors told TT.
