Jacksonville surged into the playoffs by winning seven of its final nine games.During that stretch, Trevor Lawrence was the NFL's highest-rated quarterback while throwing for 15 touchdowns with only two interceptions.He has lost fumbles in three of the last four games, turnovers often a significant statistic in the most important games.

Cowboys fans may rightly be concerned about Dak Prescott's interception problem, but recent Super Bowl history proves it can be overcome.Dak Prescott led the NFL in interceptions during the 2022 regular season.Obviously, that's not a good thing, but Cowboys fans can take heart as the playoffs get underway.

The Cowboys are having an open competition at the cornerback spot opposite Trevon Diggs after the second game without CB2 Anthony Brown was a disaster.Dallas is set at one cornerback spot with Trevon Diggs keeping opposing wide receivers in check.On the other side, things are far less comfortable.The Cowboys had relied on Anthony Brown as their No. 2 cornerback this year but the seventh-year pro went down with an Achilles injury against the Colts.

There are only 13 games remaining in the NFL season, and we're about to tackle the half-dozen affairs played out on Wild Card Weekend.The Niners swept the Seahawks this season, and while the old trope says it's tough to sweep a three-game set, that's going to happen on Saturday in Santa Clara.Seattle has been a great story and Geno Smith is a deserving Pro Bowler, but the 49ers are on an entirely different level.

The comeback won't be as big as the Vikings a day earlier, but it will be as improbable if the Jaguars hold on against the Cowboys.The Jaguars, who trailed 27-10 late in the third quarter, now lead 31-27 in the fourth.Zay Jones caught his third touchdown pass from Trevor Lawrence, with his 3-yard reception giving Jacksonville its first lead.

The Jaguars forced the Cowboys to punt on the first possession of the game, but Travis Etienne Jr. fumbled on Jacksonville's third play from scrimmage after that.Etienne never had control of the ball on the handoff from Trevor Lawrence, and Cowboys safety Donovan Wilson recovered at the Jacksonville 41.

A win over the Eagles in Week 16 improved the Dallas Cowboys to 11-4 on the season and erased the bad taste in their mouths from a loss to the Jaguars the week prior.It also kept their hopes for the NFC East title alive - and while they need Philadelphia to lose out, they have to take care of business themselves first.

The Dallas Cowboys aren't a team with many weaknesses, but the cornerback position is in a precarious spot following the season-ending injuries to Jourdan Lewis and Anthony Brown.While Da'Ron Bland's been solid in the nickel, Kelvin Joseph's been a huge liability on the boundary opposite Trevon Diggs.

The Cowboys seemingly had the game in hand, up 27-10 in the third quarter.Now, it seems out of control.The Jaguars have scored two touchdowns in the past 2:34 to close to within 27-24.Zay Jones beat Cowboys cornerback Kelvin Joseph on a double move with Joseph biting on the stutter.Jones caught the 59-yard pass from Trevor Lawrence for a quick touchdown.

The Cowboys had 39 offensive plays in the first half, and 22 of those came in Jacksonville territory.They scored three touchdowns on five possessions and lead 21-7 at halftime.Dallas has 223 yards, including 91 rushing, is 4-for-6 on third down and held the ball for 18:47 of the first 30 minutes.Dak Prescott completed 15-of-16 yards for 137 yards and two touchdowns.
