I started modeling when I was 19. I was hanging out with what I considered to be some of the most beautiful people in the world. What I realized really quickly was that everybody had an insecurity. Everybody. You look in the mirror long enough, you'll find something you don't like, or that you think could be better, or you think could be different.

The first thing that signalled the turn around of Gucci in the early 1990s under a then-unknown Texan designer named Tom Ford was a pair of clogs that, inexplicably, became the hottest item in fashion circa 1994. Afterwards Carine Roitfeld, keynote stylist of Gucci under its subsequent heady 90s explosion, spent a whole season in 1997 treading on the straps of her slingbacks.

The Khy founder showed that her PFW beauty and figure-hugging undergarments aren't playing second fiddle (and, arguably, can make the lewk come to life) as she dropped some lingerie photos on Instagram. Documenting her first day in Paris, she got ready for her first star-studded fashion showcase with the help of her glam squad - and the process was too good not to share on the grid.

This smoky, sweet, and spicy scent remains one of the most popular from Tom Ford for the simple reason that it's impossible to ignore. The highlights are, of course, tobacco (in both leaf and blossom form) that give it a sexy, spicy air and then the rich, smooth vanilla that adds sweetness and longevity to the juice.

It was nice to know the ol' olfactory system hadn't failed me. But more importantly, the reviews sent me down the gourmand fragrance reviews rabbit hole. And I don't ever want to come out of it.
