A man has been charged with stealing a car that had a 2-year-old boy inside and leaving the boy in the middle of the street in San Leandro.
The suspect, Viorel Morari, has been charged with child abuse, vehicle theft, and receiving stolen property and pleaded not guilty.
The stolen car was recovered in Tiburon and Morari was arrested along with a woman who was with him. [ more ]
