ISC released BIND 9 updates to fix four vulnerabilities, including two high-severity bugs that can lead to memory leaks and high CPU consumption.
While releases will be more frequent, their smaller scope minimizes disruption and simplifies post-release debugging. And thanks to recent process enhancements, we are confident this shift will maintain our high standards for stability.
While Samsung's latest flagships receive seven years of security updates (and seven major Android OS updates), that hasn't always been the case. And so, five years after their release, the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra are no longer going to receive any updates from this point forward. The trio launched in January of 2021, and they were each promised to receive four major Android updates and five years of security patches.
Apple is currently seeding the iOS 26.1 update to all compatible iPhone models. The company is also rolling out iPadOS 26.1, macOS Tahoe 26.1, watchOS 26.1, and tvOS 26.1 to users. The iOS 26.1 update includes a new Liquid Glass toggle that lets users choose between clear and tinted UI elements. Apple has also finally added a toggle to turn off the Lock Screen Swipe to Open Camera option. The update includes improvements to Apple Music, Local Capture, FaceTime audio, Alarms, and Apple Intelligence.
