It will be a derby that marks an era: the first as co-owners of San Siro. The Milan derby is unique in the world; you can see friends and family walking to the stadium wearing Inter and Milan jerseys: that makes it special, and that's why the atmosphere is so great. When I try to understand why Milan and Inter, off the pitch, have had such a complicated yet always harmonious journey, I think of Milan.
It's limiting to say [it's] just passion, but it's Modric's quality that is dictating the team's pace today. I'm happy for Milan. Ultimately, he's playing one game a week this year and can recover. As the years go by, you can be a phenomenon, but in the end, they make themselves felt. Having him in our league and at Milan is a great pleasure to be able to see him every Sunday.

Stefano Pioli would have hoped for a birthday present on the pitch for his 60th birthday, but his former club, AC Milan, denied that wish. Whilst his time at San Siro came to an unfortunate ending, perhaps hindered by his overextended stay at the helm, no one views the Italian in a negative light. After all, he brought the 19th Scudetto and relit the fire in the Rossoneri.
"McTominay really is the story of Serie A, this season," said local football journalist Vincenzo Credendino. "The people here can see how hard he works for the team and in this city that is so important."
