Yankees pitching prospects Elmer Rodriguez and Carlos Lagrange are highly regarded by rival scouts and could reach the major leagues this season.
There was another prospect who ranked on Baseball America's top 100 IFA prospect list that signed with the Blue Jays: Aneudy Severino. The outfielder signed for $700,000 and ranked as the 71st-best prospect. His scouting report notes that he's just 5'9" but is strong and hits the ball hard. A right-handed batter, he's more of a line-drive hitter than a power hitter.
A growing list of elite clubs are now closely tracking Karetsas' development. Bayern Munich, Napoli, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea are all understood to be monitoring the situation closely, sources close to the agents industry have informed CaughtOffside. Konstantinos Karetsas is a player in demand across Europe In addition, Liverpool, Everton, Newcastle United, and Bayer Leverkusen have joined the race, showing just how highly the Genk youngster is rated across Europe.
This list is a snapshot of where things stand right now, based on my own scouting (both in person and on film) and conversations I've had with NFL scouts and evaluators. These are not final -- some players will emerge over the next five months, while others will slide or perhaps not even end up in the draft at all. But this is where I see the Class of 2026 right now.
