We haven't gone through the rotation yet for the next 10 days, which is going to be kind of hard if you're looking at off days and things like that, so we're talking through that right now. Certainly, we have a lot of stability. Especially with Shohei built up and expect to get him through five [Wednesday]. The guys are throwing the baseball really well and I know our 'pen is in a good spot too.
There is some feeling within the Mets organization that right-handed pitching prospect could make his MLB debut before the 2025 season is up, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports. Tong only just made his debut with Triple-A Syracuse on August 16 and hadn't been projected as "a consideration for the Major League roster this year," Puma writes, but "that stance has changed in recent days."
