Forum Florum unfolds across SIAM's courtyard and two historic interior rooms, with the Flower Journey installation opening the sequence. The monumental portal traces the global history of the cut flower industry, an extractive trade that scaled from 19th-century Dutch greenhouse cultivation into today's Kenyan and Colombian export agriculture.

Concrete affords an outdoor space an anchor. It's highly resilient but deeply contextual. The context is its materiality—modern concrete evokes something industrial and sparse, which both Simlai and Pfaff counteract with botanical elements and material mixing.

The Container 26L is designed to adapt across environments rather than anchor itself to just one, showcasing a blend of rugged utility and refined design.

Our role is, first and foremost, to transmit our fascination with a craft and to ignite that same excitement in the designer. This is the foundation of our curatorial approach: creating the right encounter between a designer's universe and that of a workshop.

What began as a modest brief for a young and growing family soon evolved into a considered renovation that reimagines an existing Barwon Heads home. The original house had endured several unsympathetic alterations over the years, leaving it disjointed and built to a poor standard.

The HOUYOU lamp doesn't announce itself. It sits on a table, conical and quiet, wrapped in fibrous brown bark that looks almost raw, almost unfinished.
