According to the upcoming game's website, Ranger Rumble will feature "iconic characters from the Ratchet & Clank franchise" as well as big guns and explosions, which are hallmarks of the long-running series that started back on the PS2.
Ratchet & Clank's franchise has been dormant since Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was released in 2021, but that didn't stop some fans from searching for a game that few remembered. Ratchet & Clank: Clone Home was announced was announced in the mid-2000s as the follow-up to the mobile title Ratchet & Clank: Going Mobile. Although Clone Home was canceled and never officially released, the game has finally been found and a copy has been shared online.
The most dedicated fans researching the game were college students "Emily" and "Super Gamer Omega Clank." The latter posted on Reddit four years ago that they found someone with the game on a Sony Ericsson W880i. It was encrypted, though, and as little as a few weeks ago, they said that their quest to extract it from that device was proving to be "hopeless."
