US man released after being held by Taliban for more than two years

George Glezmann, a US man abducted in Afghanistan, was released by the Taliban under negotiations led by Trumpâs envoy and Qatari diplomats.

The heads of state reaffirmed the commitment of all parties to an immediate and unconditional ceasefire as agreed at an African summit last month.
