Two pilots died and several others were injured when an Air Canada jet struck a fire truck at LaGuardia Airport.
A second helicopter pilot critically injured in a midair collision in South Jersey has died from his injuries, police said Monday. The other pilot involved in the crash died at the scene. Hammonton Police identified the pilots as 65-year-old Kenneth L. Kirsch, of Carney's Point, New Jersey, and 71-year-old Michael Greenberg of Sewell, New Jersey. Police said Kirsch was piloting an Enstrom model F-28A helicopter, and was flown to a hospital in critical condition after the crash.
