Aerosmith have teamed up with Yungblud for a new single titled "My Only Angel," with both acts unveiling a teaser clip for the song on Monday (September 15th). The short clip (watch and listen below) shows Steven Tyler and Yungblud recording the song's big chorus as they stand side by side at the mic, with other scenes revealing guitarist Joe Perry contributing to the track, as well.
On Sunday (7 September) Carpenter attended the awards ceremony where she won three awards, Best Pop Artist, Best Album (for Short n' Sweet), and Best Visual Effects for "Manchild." The "Taste" singer also performed her new song, "Tears", during the show, in which she featured many RuPaul's Drag Race and queer icons. After the performance, Pascal, an ally to the LGBTQ+ community with a trans sister, Lux Pascal, took to his Instagram to celebrate Carpenter.
On the red carpet of the VMAs, Yungblud told Nylon magazine, "I've actually got Iggy Pop's leather pants on. Richard [Stark] from [luxury brand] Chrome Hearts said if you can fit in them you can wear them." Meanwhile, the singer's cross necklace was gifted him by Ozzy himself at the "Back to the Beginning" concert in July, just two weeks before the Prince of Darkness passed away.
The 26-year-old singer took to the stage at the MTV VMAs in New York on 7 September, beginning his performance in period style attire, complete with a bejewelled, red velvet cape, puffy sleeves, and toussled hair. He lowered down his seemingly deceased stage partner, My Life With Walter Boys actor Corey Fogelmanis, onto a bed of flowers à la Romeo with Juliet in Shakespeare's tragic tale.
