London sees lowest number of homicides in over a decade

London recorded its lowest homicide rate in over a decade at 1.1 per 100,000, credited to increased arrests, technology, and targeted policing.

London recorded 70 homicides in the first nine months of 2025, the lowest since monthly records began in 2003.
