A 26-year-old man has been shot dead while sitting in a car near London's Euston station. Police said CCTV showed he was shot at several times by a suspect who arrived and left on a bike.

Rail services were halted after a massive fire broke out on train tracks between Peckham and Bermondsey on Tuesday evening, causing travel chaos for Londoners. The fire broke out between Queen's Road Peckham and South Bermondsey railway stations. Three fire engines and approximately 15 firefighters were rushed to the scene, trains were stopped in both directions and power was cut. LFB Dozens of firefighters have extinguished a fire in the basement of a data centre in east London. London Fire Brigade (LFB) said around 60 firefighters and eight fire engines were called to Nutmeg Lane, Blackwall at 04:50 GMT on Saturday. The fire broke out in a battery room containing lead-acid batteries and was brought under control before 07:00. The cause of the blaze has not been determined.
