Samara Cyn and J.I.D. will perform at Stanford Blackfest on May 3, showcasing their musical talents in a free outdoor concert.
Trey Anastasio Band will perform charity shows at Beacon Theatre and has announced additional dates in Denver, Cincinnati, Detroit, Akron, and Syracuse leading up to it.
The EP opens with "Behold," the only solo track in the collection. It sets the tone with JID's signature vocal acrobatics and dense lyricism, weaving intricate rhyme schemes over a haunting, skeletal beat.
In the lead-up to WRK, JID took a moment to address the emotional aftermath of The Forever Story. While widely praised, JID revealed feelings of not receiving the recognition he believed the album deserved. He used this frustration as fuel, pushing him toward a mindset focused on effort and self-determination.
