2 weeks agoMicah Parsons: "I Was Really About To" Join The Eagles
Micah Parsons nearly joined the Philadelphia Eagles in 2025 but would only sign if Jalen Carter was also on the roster.
Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter is out for Monday night's game against the Los Angeles Chargers after undergoing procedures this past Monday on both his shoulders, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Thursday. Carter now is undergoing treatment on both shoulders and is considered to be week-to-week to return. Carter wanted to be as close to 100% as possible for the playoff run, the sources told Schefter.
When the Cowboys and Eagles faced off back in Week 1, Dallas got a bit lucky. Defensive tackle Jalen Carter, arguably Philadelphia's best defender, got ejected before Dallas' first offensive play for attempting to spit on Dak Prescott. The Cowboys had no problem moving the ball against the Carter-less Eagles defense, putting up 300+ yards of total offense. This week, Dallas won't be that lucky, as the Pro Bowl defensive tackle will be on the field attempting to wreak havoc on Dallas' offense.
I feel bad for just my teammates and fans out there. I'm doing it for them. I'm doing it for my family, also. But the fans, they showed the most love. Not being able to start the game even, finish the game, it f****d me up but we're going to get it better. It won't happen again. I can make that promise.
