Who's your pick for next season's MVP? Bowen: Dak Prescott, QB, Cowboys. Prescott had more than 4,500 passing yards and threw 30 touchdowns this past season. With the Cowboys expected to retain wide receiver George Pickens, whom they will likely give the franchise tag, look for Prescott to produce high-level numbers again for a team that could challenge for the NFC East title in 2026 with an improved defense.
After casting a wide search and interviewing several candidates, the Dallas Cowboys have their man. Dallas and the Philadelphia Eagles' passing game coordinator/DBs coach Christian Parker have agreed on a contract that will make him the Cowboys' new defensive coordinator. The Cowboys had interviewed Denver's Jim Leonhard and Minnesota's Daronte Jones, among others, but Parker made enough of an impression to win the job.
I am all for playing for pride and letting the starters play last week, but this game Sunday is completely pointless for a guy like Dak Prescott to play. It is all speculation, but Prescott has had two major surgeries and just had his healthiest year in a long time, yet they are running him out there in a game that means 100% nothing. If something were to happen to him, how do you think the front office and head coach Brian Schottenhimer would feel answering to the media?
Dak gets a B- this week. The structure of the offense still produced answers. But the timing wasn't consistently sharp and a couple of key throws were just a beat late or slightly off.
Each week in the NFL is its own story -- full of surprises, both positive and negative -- and fantasy football managers must decide what to believe and what not to believe moving forward. Perhaps we can help. If any of these thoughts come true ... don't be surprised! NOTE: All mention of fantasy points is for PPR formats, unless otherwise mentioned. Don't be surprised if ... Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott finishes No. 2 at his position in season scoring
"We've got to find a way to finish the game, and we've got to find some consistency in what we do," Hurts said. "Definitely the tale of two halves. In the end, we didn't play a complete game as a team, and today it got us. "We've got to own this one, let it light a fire in us as a team and stay together and move forward."
"We had the openers planned the way that we wanted to run them, and we called the same stuff that we were going to call," Adams said. "I don't know if there were really any adjustments. You always have a plan for a player like that, but I don't think you go into it, 'Oh, let's throw this stuff out.' It was designed the way it was designed, so I
