These new California laws go into effect on July 1
Establishments with a 'Type 48' license to serve beer, wine or distilled spirits must now provide a lid with a customer's drink upon request. The establishment may charge a 'reasonable' fee for the lid.

The law, Senate Bill 729, requires state-regulated health plans offered by large employers to cover infertility diagnosis and treatment, including IVF.
