Local councillor and newly elected Cathaoirleach of Wexford County Council Joe Sullivan stated, "I hope that the woman involved makes a speedy recovery. Obviously, I don't know the full circumstances at this stage, but it's very regrettable to see someone injured like that on a busy Friday morning on our Main Street."
