LHA rates: DWP claimants given massive housing cash boost but there's a catch
Around 1.6 million private renters in the UK will receive an increase in their housing support in April through uprated Local Housing Allowance (LHA) rates.
The LHA rates will cover the cheapest 30% of rents in an area, potentially making families claiming Housing Benefit an average of £800 better off per month. [ more ]
