The Buffalo Bills needed a touchdown. Down four points with just over four minutes remaining in the game, the ball was in quarterback Josh Allen's hands, just as the team would like. After Allen launched a 36-yard pass to wide receiver Brandin Cooks, he then brought the ball down to the one-yard line on a tush push play to set up the game-winning score. The quarterback punched it into the end zone on the following play with the Jaguars letting him score.

Hawaii backup quarterback Luke Weaver threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Nick Cenacle with 10 seconds left and the Rainbow Warriors derailed Cal's hopes for an eight-win season, claiming a 35-31 victory at the Hawaii Bowl on Wednesday. Weaver entered the game after an injury on the previous play to freshman starter Micah Alejado, who engineered a rally from 21 points down.

"Every game he's gotten better and better. Nothing flusters him. He's got great poise and works really hard. So he deserves a lot of credit. He only got here in June. It's not like we had a whole spring ball with him. We changed the offense and did a whole bunch of stuff, so some of it is just a natural progression of learning the offense and getting better every week."

Facing a second-and-10 from their own 40 with 23 seconds left, Sam Darnold hit receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba down the left sideline for a 22-yard gain, setting up Jason Myers' game-winning field goal from 52 yards out as time expired two plays later. "Sam made a perfect throw, honestly," Smith-Njigba said. "Back shoulder throw. The corner was on top of me, so he just placed it perfectly, and it was an easy grab."

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Raachad White powered his way into the end zone from two yards out with six seconds left in the game to beat the Houston Texans 20-19. After Houston scored a go-ahead touchdown with 2:10 left in the game, the Buccaneers orchestrated an 80-yard scoring drive in 2:04 to pull out the win and move to 2-0 for a fifth consecutive season.
