Five Polish cities, including Warsaw and Krakow, have ordered Irizar e-mobility electric buses lately, for a total of 80 units. The Spanish brand announces in fact that it has signed several contracts with Polish public transport operators to supply electric buses, with the Irizar ie bus selected in every case. Recently, the company concluded a deal with MZA Warsaw (Miejskie Zakłady Autobusowe sp. z o.o.) for ten 10-metre buses.

"DATTCO is known for doing things the right way - with care, detail, and a constant focus on the customer," Tom Wagner, Vice President, Private Sector Sales and Service at MCI, said. "We're proud to deliver these J4500s to such a respected operator and look forward to supporting their team in every way we can."

The airline group said it will eliminate a total of 4,000 jobs worldwide by 2030, the majority of which will be in Germany-with a focus on administration roles, not operational ones. "The Lufthansa Group is reviewing which activities will no longer be necessary in the future, for example due to duplication of work," the company said in a statement. "In particular, the profound changes brought about by digitalization and the increased use of AI will lead to greater efficiency in many areas and processes."
