Democrats are analyzing former supporters who shifted to Trump, focusing on disillusionment and economic struggles.
The tariffs imposed by Trump are reshaping our political landscape, said Richard Nantel, a 65-year-old from Montreal, Quebec. A pro-Trump Conservative party was predicted to win the upcoming federal election.
Seventeen percent of respondents between the ages of 18 and 29 - the highest percentage of any age group surveyed - said they were not too or not at all satisfied with their jobs, per a Pew Research Center survey published on December 10.
"This election is unique because the north, historically marginalized, will likely determine the election outcome for the first time," said analyst Emmanuel Yeboah. "Voter frustration with economic hardships drives this pivotal shift."
