Dodgers selected Chuckie Robinson to the 40-man roster; Dalton Rushing placed on 10-day injured list with a right shin contusion.
Smith has remained active, but Dalton Rushing was put on the 10-day injured list Saturday. Rushing was removed from the series opener against the Baltimore Orioles after fouling a pitch off his right knee/shin. An X-ray on Friday night came back negative and follow-up CT scan also did not reveal any sort of fracture. Rushing nevertheless is now due to miss time because of what Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has deemed a deep bone bruise in his right shin.
