Designed in close dialogue with the Prado's conservators, the coats meet strict functional requirements essential to restoration work. They are constructed from high-quality, non-reflective materials that prevent any glare from interfering with the surface of a painting-an essential consideration when working millimeters away from a Velázquez or a Bosch.

The Art In Public Places (AIPP) program, created in 1985, allocates up to 2 percent of eligible capital improvement budgets for visual art on city projects. Staff say the revisions are intended to clarify program procedures, broaden participation and address long-term care of artworks.

This summer, celebrate with festivals, food, and live music across the Bay Area. Events range from the massive crowds at Outside Lands to vibrant night markets with farm-to-table menus.

"We are a spontaneous and experimental organisation, testing traditional models of arts institutions and exhibition making," say the founders in a statement.
