Graham Agassiz and Eric Lawrenuk launch the 'Whatever Dude' freeride video project alongside a new Dakine collection inspired by Agassiz's style.
A superpipe is a halfpipe that is about 64 feet wide and typically between 400 and 600 feet long, with walls approximately 22 feet high. The walls of the pipe are near vertical, with a smooth transition that allows riders to carry maximum speed.
The ongoing storm is expected to add 13-16 cm at Banff Sunshine and around 4-5 cm at Lake Louise by Friday morning, with the deepest moisture focused on Alberta.
Violence on the ski mountain is never justified. If there's a serious problem, get ski patrol and let them handle it. But some people are just too entitled and have no sense of self control, ruining the peace that should exist on the resort.
Every single one of the resort's 116 runs was open, and all 16 lifts were spinning. In early March, that's a big deal. Arriving at a mountain firing on all cylinders-with no closures shrinking the map, is a decadent experience during this trying winter. Big White provided wide-open freedom across five alpine bowls and perfectly spaced glades.
