Sadiq Khan hails 'massive' increase in speed of Met Police answering 999 calls
Over 90% of 999 calls are now being answered within ten seconds, a significant improvement from 57.3% in June 2022.
Investment in the Met Police service, particularly in the Command and Control Centre, has led to improved call handling and faster response times. [ more ]
