This year, however, Panerai brought a handful of fans a little closer. The Italian brand has bundled experiences with (very) limited edition watches for a while now, taking devotees to train with Navy SEALs or sail with the Luna Rossa racing team.
'Machine intelligence allows craft to be scaled, but the artistry and ideas remain rooted in human hands,' says BIG partner Giulia Frittoli. 'This is the synergy we are exploring: by working with machines, we can make architecture.'
