The Arizona Fall League plays in an abbreviated season. King played (18) Games, but his statistics were commendable. He had a stellar batting average of (.359) and an OPS of (1.031). King found 8-of-21 hits to be extra base hits with (2) Home Runs. He added (11) Walks, but did strikeout (15) Times on (79) Plate Appearances, or a 19% K-Rate, including walks.
Patrick finished the week with a 2-for-10 performance across a pair of games. He went 2-for-5 with a triple in his first game, and went 0-for-5 in the Division Series games. On the season, Patrick showed up with a .772 OPS and went 22-for-24 in the stolen base department. He showed a good approach with 13 walks and just 12 strikeouts, continuing a trend from the season. For the full year Patrick had 101 stolen bases on 120 attempts (84%)
The Arizona Fall League chugs on, and Luke Sinnard proved across two starts why Battery Power is so high on him heading into next season. Sinnard looked impressive, throwing a lot of strikes with a fastball that averaged over 95 mph, and his progress this season looks to make him a real option in Atlanta in 2026. As the playoffs continue to roll on for the 8 remaining MLB teams, the off-season is off and running for other teams. Not yet in terms of action but more in terms of preparation. Many decisions have to be made, especially early in the off-season. One of the bigger decisions facing all MLB teams is who, of their controllable players, will they tender contracts too.
A total of eight Los Angeles Dodgers prospects were named to the Glendale Desert Dogs roster for the 2025 Arizona Fall League, which is an increase from six last year. Additionally, Triple-A Oklahoma City bench coach Chris Gutierrez is part of the Desert Dogs coaching staff. Josue De Paula and Kendall George are the most notable Dodgers prospects participating in the AFL, and they're accompanied by Logan Wagner, Justin Chambers, Jakob Wright, Hyun-Seok Jang, Alex Makarewich and Payton Martin.
Schultz's season began with a solid performance in Double-A, posting a 3.34 ERA and 58 strikeouts in 56.2 innings, but fell sharply after moving to Triple-A, where he allowed 15 earned runs in just 11.1 innings across three starts.
