Former AFC Wimbledon managing director Danny Macklin has been banned from football for 14 weeks after making abusive and sexist comments about a female colleague.
Macklin admitted the charge of making aggressive, violent, and misogynistic remarks during a Football Association hearing last month.
AFC Wimbledon have agreed a deal to re-sign Jake Reeves after his contract at Stevenage expires on 30 June.The 29-year-old midfielder, who scored four goals in 50 appearances for Boro this season, has agreed a two-year deal with the League Two club.Reeves had a five-match loan spell with the Dons in 2012 and then featured 123 times between January 2015 and May 2017, scoring four times.
Sutton United have condemned "poor" fan behaviour - including discriminatory chanting and pitch invasions - at their two most recent home matches.The League Two club said spectators were removed from the ground for using "insulting words that included reference to gender".Two people have also been banned from the stadium for entering the pitch.
The Football Association has charged Gillingham with three counts of misconduct following racist or sexist abuse from their supporters.The charges relate to incidents during games against Colchester and Sutton in December and AFC Wimbledon in February.The League Two club have until 5 June to respond to the FA.
AFC Wimbledon have offered new contracts to Ethan Chislett and Aaron Pierre but George Marsh is among seven players who have been released.Midfielder Chislett, 24, scored 11 goals in 51 appearances as the Dons finished 21st in League Two.Defender Pierre, 30, netted once in 10 outings, while midfielder Marsh, 24, featured 30 times in all competitions.
