Over the last few months, rumors and leaks have been circulating online about Disney working on a remastered and fully restored version of Star Wars. Then, recently, video clips surfaced of this not-yet-officially-announced 4K restoration of the theatrical version of Star Wars. Those clips were promptly deleted, but leaked screenshots are still floating around and show new, highly detailed scans of A New Hope, and also The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, implying the entire OG trilogy is being restored.

Released today, October 10th, via Ode Records, the 50th anniversary vinyl edition of The Rocky Horror Picture Show is pressed on 180-gram red-in-gold vinyl and comes housed in a heavyweight gold-foil jacket with a newly designed inner sleeve. The album package features never-before-seen photos and production diary excerpts from producer Richard Hartley. It's available for purchase on Amazon and through Record Store Day.

Consequence is celebrating Rocky Horror's 50th by giving away five (5) copies of the Rocky Horror steelbook collectible release. With both 4K UHD and Blu-ray copies, this anniversary edition includes a fresh 4K restoration of the movie and Dolby enhancements alongside a ton of special features including a karaoke viewing option, a trivia track, an audio commentary featuring stars O'Brien and Quinn, and new featurettes.

The Rodgers & Hammerstein classic is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year with a newly restored and remastered version of the beloved movie courtesy of the Walt Disney Film Restoration team. The film will be re-released in theaters in 4K from September 12-September 17 in more than 1000 cities across the country and around the world beginning September 20. Tickets are available HERE.
