Studio McW extended and redesigned the lower ground floor of Threshold House to make room for extended hospitality. Threshold House is a semi-detached, split-level Victorian home located in the leafy De Beauvoir neighbourhood of London. The intervention expands usable space and reconfigures the lower ground floor to support increased hosting and domestic activity. The design responds to the building's split-level plan and Victorian fabric while providing contemporary spatial arrangements for living and entertaining. The project adapts an existing residential typology to accommodate shifting household needs for hospitality and flexible use.
