"Design here is not about 'renovation,' but about 'recalling': recalling the memories sealed within the land, the breath hidden in the mountain forests and timber, and the traces of time buried in the layered mountains."
"Let aged wood be rekindled, let old houses rise again, let mountain springs sing once more. Let every piece of old timber return to the slopes, and let every crack tell the story of wind and frost."
A micro-village located at 3,000 meters in Jiuzhaigou consists of eight wooden cabins, representing China's smallest administrative village. The transformation into a resort focuses on recalling the memories embedded in the land, the essence of the mountain forests, and the historical significance of the area. The design aims to rejuvenate aged wood, restore old houses, and celebrate the natural sounds of mountain springs, allowing every piece of timber and crack to narrate the stories of the environment.
