Operation renovation: 'We wanted the worst house on the street and we got it - it was so dark, smelly and in disrepair'

Fiona Carolan and her husband Martin embarked on a challenging renovation of a dilapidated end-of-terrace Dublin red-brick house, initially described as a 'blank canvas.' Their journey began in 2016 when they found the property in a grim state of disrepair, but they saw potential in its double-fronted structure and charming bay window.
