"Most units measure approximately 120 m², reflecting the architects' vision of a fluid boundary between living and working spaces."
Metropolitan Village, located in Taipei's Xinyi Central Business District, is a 95 m tall, 23-storey residential tower. The project features 11,961 m² of residential space on a 736 m² site. Designed by OMA, it embodies a 'vertical village' concept, reflecting the blurred lines between living and working in post-pandemic Taipei. The building's interlocking volumes and distinctive facades respond to urban conditions, linking the Xinyi commercial area and the Wenchang neighborhood. The design includes over 30 residential unit types, catering to diverse living needs.
