The single-family house located near Fátima integrates well with its rural surroundings, embodying respect for the natural landscape and prioritizing local materials. Designed by an involved architect-owner inspired by the Lemke House, the project focuses on enhancing natural light and fluidity between indoor and outdoor spaces, ensuring privacy and spatial flexibility. Children's rooms are designed to adapt between private retreats and open play areas through large sliding panels, and the overall design embodies modern principles of space utilization and connection to nature.
The project highlights respect for the surrounding natural landscape and emphasizes the use of local materials to enhance the home’s connection to its environment.
Inspired by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's Lemke House, the architects incorporated natural light and spatial flexibility, allowing children's rooms to transform with large sliding panels.
