The relocation of a shrine for Lord Datta due to urban development offered architects a chance to innovate. Initially rooted in traditional designs, a collaborative approach evolved the concept into a contemporary space. The shrine incorporates classical elements like the garbhagriha and mandapa, enhanced by modern aesthetics. A large open area supports community events and cultural gatherings, while local Maharashtrian design features add authenticity. The entire structure, made with yellow lime plaster, emphasizes tactile engagement and spiritual ambiance, fulfilling both spiritual and social commitments.
