Condominium Apartments / Lacroix Chessex
Briefly

Set on the shores of Lake Geneva, this new project features 49 condominium apartments arranged around a historic manor house. Designed by Bonnard + Woeffray, the layout respects the natural landscape, with three unique building types that ensure lake views from numerous angles. The architecture emphasizes an organic flow, avoiding rigid divisions between day and night spaces. Each apartment is designed with a unique character and layout, maximizing views and creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The lakefront building is designed to maximize lake views, featuring 16 apartments with stunning perspectives of the landscape, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection.
The outer broken line of the building mimics an open fan, creating a play of crystalline geometries, ensuring no sharp angles while enhancing space utilization.
Two diamond-shaped stairwells serve six apartments per floor, with three main types of apartments designed to maintain symmetry and offer varied spaces with lake views.
Efforts were made to avoid an overly hermetic construction of day and night zones, providing flexible living spaces that integrate well with the surrounding environment.
