Baan Tectonix House / I Like Design Studio
Briefly

This new house extension is designed to accommodate a multi-generational family, focusing on the elderly parents’ comfort and privacy. Set on an L-shaped plot, the home is divided into three functional zones: a private residence for solitude, a high-ceiling communal space for gatherings, and a service area connecting both old and new sections. The roof design promotes openness while ensuring privacy from neighbors, creating a tranquil setting with seamless integration to outdoor spaces.
The new house serves as an extension of the existing home, thoughtfully accommodating future living arrangements for the family, especially the elderly parents.
The L-shaped layout efficiently divides the property into three zones: a private residence for the elderly, a communal dining area, and a service area for convenience.
The elevated and sloping roof design not only shields views from neighboring homes but also enhances the sense of openness and connection to the sky.
A solid fence at the front provides privacy for the swimming pool while creating an enclosed sanctuary that integrates the house with its natural surroundings.
