
The Caserne Mellinet in Nantes has been transformed to meet contemporary urban challenges. Located at the entrance of a neighborhood with six hamlets, the flats by Ramdam and Palast are part of the Chapus hamlet. This area serves as a transitional link between the Saint-Donatien neighborhood and the barracks complex. The project aims to create a coherent identity while emphasizing a strong construction ambition using wooden structures and mineral facades made of plastered hempcrete.
